I'm Choking

My heart is beating jagged rhythma.

I'm choking on tears, bile, and regret.

My mind is cloudy with "maybes" and "what ifs"

I stand amazed at what I see.

This is my life, and this is me.

My lungs collapse around the words.

I'm suffering myself with indecision and pent up anger.

My mind is a mess with false hopes and terrible thoughts.

It's bittersweet, this realizaion.

This is my breaking point, I can feel pieces of me falling away.

My body vibrates to a tune of destruction.

I'm losing control of the tears that I cry.

My Love..My Heart

My love without you is nothing.

My heart without you is gone.

I can't be without you, in my heart it seems wrong.

My love for you is unconditional and i hope yours is too.

Whatever rocky roads we take, I hope we can get through.

I would hate to be miserable without your gentle touch,

cause without your kiss goodnight, my life doesn't mean very much.

I miss every min I’m away from you,

Every second of the day, I cant stand to be away from you.

In my heart that is a lot to say.

I never want to lose you, I never want to cry,

I wanna be with you forever and I never want to ask myself why.

Things will workout I know they will, because in my heart I know

that we love each other and that’s for real.

Yeah we fight, yeah we argue, yeah we get mad at each other,

But its normal to fight, its normal to argue.

Just think about that why don’t you.

Beautiful Sunset

I stared into the sun, until I thought I was blind. Then I saw so many mountains, hidden in the skies. Saw palaces form within the clouds, right before my eyes. And fire became the stars, in every color of my lies. Watched the sun fall, into it's eternal sleep. Wondered whom would call, It so beautiful as to weep. Then I felt the tears, trailing slowly down my cheeks. And knew a pain so sharp,it cut me down, wick deep. Feelings escaped me, as fleeting as memories torn. And I had to delay, the weeping soon to be born. The darkness began to bleed, like shadows from old lore. Into the skies it fled,filling every starry pore. Then came the night,like a thief with a bag of dreams, and I had to catch my breath, because nothing was as it seemed. The skies darkened with shadows, and the stars began to sing, with memories of such a sunset, the most beautiful there had ever been.

I am Truly Blessed

Each night you lay down to rest I thank the Lord, for I am truly blessed!

You cover up and close your eyes. A new day is on the rise.
You wake in the morning with a moan. The day before us is still unknown.

You get up and get dressed,I thank the Lord, for I am truly blessed!
Your backpack on your back. Don't forget your snack.

As we head west I thank the Lord, for I am truly blessed!
I drive you to school. Where you will learn the golden rule.

I tell you to make this day your best. I thank the Lord, for I am truly blessed!

By three o'clock I pick you up. You always say "S'up?"

I check your backpack, an A on a test. I thank the Lord, for I am truly blessed!
Your notebook has more than one tally. I think it's time to rally.

This situation has me stressed, but still I thank the Lord, for I am truly blessed!
Privielges have been lost. I wanna help you no matter what the cost.

Even though we're both depressed. I thank the Lord, for I am truly blessed!
It may be hard and I don't understand. I want you to show me, take me by the hand.

When I understand why you're so oppressed. It's then that I will thank the Lord, and be completely blessed!

If Your Gonna Be Stupid you gotta be Tough

If your gonna be stupid ya gotta be tough
if it's true love though ya can't give it up
quitters never win, winners never quit
idiots never win or quit
there's so many people in lil' groves
that talk lotta mess they can't back up
life's to short to have anything but love
so I've learned to laugh when my name comes up
as long as the world turns mouths will run
what goes around comes around, so think before you speak
cuz when it bites you in the ass, think of the havoc it could wreak
trip on the less fortunate, u become the less fortunate
people need to grow up and think about what really matters
instead of hurting lots of people with their insolent chatter
everyones better than the worst thing they ever did
give people a break, wouldn't you want that if it were you instead?
be who ya wanna be, who cares what people say
It's really only God and you that matter any way
count your blessings, learn form your mistakes...
when you fall get up and keep on going
no matter how much it hurts or how long it takes
don't let ignorant, jealous people put you to a stop
just hang in there and show em what you got
surprise them, shock them, straight up stun them
there's no better feeling than beating the odds!!
